The Rhins of Galloway is located in the far west of the region of Dumfries and Galloway in South West Scotland. This peninsular is unspoiled and the perfect destination for anyone looking for a peaceful, relaxing holiday.
The Rhins of Galloway stretches for 25 miles from the north to the Mull of Galloway in the far south, the most southerly point in Scotland. The western coast of the Rhins of Galloway has steep rugged cliffs and rocky inlets whilst the east of the peninsular has sandy beaches.
The popular Southern Upland Way coast to coast walk begins in Portpatrick and there are some very special viewpoints along the way. The milder climate in the Rhins of Galloway means that numerous tropical trees and plants can flourish here and we have six beautiful Galloway Gardens to visit during your holiday.
